Catt Fields White Catt brings farmers to the city and people to the table at three weekly farmers’ markets in urban San Diego. She is the director of the InTents Conference, and an influencer in the farm and food community as CEO of San Diego Markets.
Additionally, she is a prolific fundraiser for local community improvement districts, consults with new and existing farmers’ market operations, and offers Vendor-101 classes year-round for food artisans, farmers, and crafters starting micro-businesses.
Catt is a Steering Committee member of the California Alliance of Farmers’ Markets, serves on the national Farmers’ Market Coalition Leadership Forum, and writes about food policy and micro-entrepreneurship. She is the grown-up in the room, a veritable force of nature, and we are delighted to have her on our team – and keeping us on our best behavior.
