In over his head, Greg Stratmann, is hard-working medical doctor, and beer-drinking winemaker who has his hands full raising his two kids, while establishing Stonehouse Cellars, as one of California's premier wineries (a vineyard utilizing organic and biodynamic principles), AND a modern-day B&B, or as we call it, a home for friends – and wine.
While always keenly interested in growing his own fresh produce, Greg never thought he could keep another plate spinning until he met Ramona. After a tour of her small, abundantly producing "urban" farm, (complete with top bar beehives) he was convinced it was possible.
With their combination of boundless energy and too many good ideas for anyone's own good, this dynamic duo has a lot in common. Stubborn, hard-headed, competitive athletes, they share a love for sailing, surfing, cycling, epic adventures (and parties), good food, and better friends.
Together, Ramona and Greg grow good stuff to eat and drink for friends - with hopes you'll become one soon.
